About Us

We aim for all our care staff to be trained to at least Level 2 in Health & Social Care. 

Briercliffe Lodge is regulated and inspected by The Care Quality Commission and is a Lancashire County Council ‘Preferred provider’. 

We care for up to 17 residents, both men and women, who require help with personal care (not nursing). Our residents may be with or without physical disability, mental impairment, incontinence or other medical conditions. Our residents may be funded by the County Council or self funding. We cater for long or short term care and although we do not have a dedicated respite care bed we can offer this service when a room is available.

We have 13 single (7 with en suite toilets) and 2 double rooms. Spacious communal areas, with TV and DVD facilities and a light and airy conservatory, mature gardens and wheelchair accessible area with raised flowerbeds are all available for residents and their visitors to use.
